After co-founding the company IbanFirst, I embarked on a new project and created Mondial Change in 2015 with my partner Numa Thiellement.

Our company specializes in providing currency exchange services, foreign exchange risk hedging, and international payment management.

What exactly do you offer, and to whom?
Our clients are companies of all sizes – from small businesses to publicly listed companies – which, due to their activity, need to make or receive payments in currencies other than the euro. We have clients in all sectors: import-export, tourism, insurance, services... and we are currently supporting over 1000 companies in their international transactions.

Our services are useful whenever companies face the management of foreign currency flows. In fact, we are an alternative to the traditional bank trading rooms for currency exchanges, foreign exchange risk hedging, but also for currency account management and international payments.

We facilitate the creation of currency account infrastructures with named IBANs, which can be located in France or other countries, to meet the needs of companies operating abroad.

We also offer comprehensive support in foreign exchange risk hedging, aiming to protect our clients' margins against currency fluctuations. To do so, we offer a diversified range of hedging products, from classic forward contracts to the most elaborate strategies using currency options and barrier products.

For example: if a client needs 100 million lines for their currency hedges, instead of approaching many banks (known for their significant decision-making time), the client can contact Mondial Change. We will consult our different counterparties and within 48 hours have a solution for the entire 100 million line. We assist the client in opening accounts with our different partners and remain the single point of contact for managing and executing operations. Clients indeed never have direct contact with our partners, and Mondial Change acts as the interface between the client and the partner. We open up a whole range of possibilities to our client with numerous fintechs and financial institutions while offering a single point of contact.

What are your development areas?
We are actively exploring several development areas. First, we are constantly seeking new counterparties and potential partners to enhance our service offerings. We strive to expand our network to stay at the forefront of innovation.

One area we are particularly closely monitoring is the evolution of international payments involving the use of cryptocurrencies. This market is still relatively new and immature, but we have already established relationships with some key players and are closely following developments in this sector. Current needs are limited, but we remain attentive to this emerging trend and are ready to seamlessly integrate crypto partners into our offerings as soon as it becomes relevant.

We also do not rule out the possibility, in the future, of collaborating with partners offering treasury placement services or other related fields.

Our goal is to create a front-office client interface that allows clients to easily track all these multi-partner services autonomously. We also plan to continue investing in technology to remain at the forefront of efficiency and innovation.

Finally, we envisage opening offices abroad in the coming years to expand geographically beyond France. The specific countries where we might establish our presence are yet to be determined, but this geographic expansion is clearly part of our long-term plans.
